STRIKES

When a strike breaks out, all the workers stop working, erect tents adjacent to the factory and put big posters up to show their protests towards the management decisions of the company. This situation often creates an opportunity for the media to produce sensational headlines.
Every strike has a leader acting as a representative or a spokesperson for the workers. This person is an executive member of the union who has been trained for industrial disputes, industrial relations, and collective agreements.
