STRIKES
Strike
usually arise from industrial disputes between the employer and the workers’
union. This takes place in response to employee grievances. The common grounds
of disputes with the employers involve wage increments, labor conditions,
management harassment and unfair dismissal.
When a strike
breaks out, all the workers stop working, erect tents adjacent to the factory
and put big posters up to show their protests towards the management decisions
of the company. This situation often creates an opportunity for the media to

Every strike

person is an executive member of the union who has been trained for industrial
disputes, industrial relations, and collective agreements.
